Ship Bottom
Ship Bottom's central location makes a popular place. When you first come off the causeway and make your way to the T in the road by the WaWa, you head right, and you've just landed in Ship Bottom. There all ready? You betcha, and it's this central location that keeps it hopping. Ship Bottom offers stores galore like "The Pottery Barge", "The Haymarket" (a massive toy and hobby store), surf shops, a wicker store, and the list goes on. You'll find plenty of good food in Ship Bottom with the likes of the "LBI Pancake House", "Voodoo Steakhouse", the new "Arizona Grill", along with quick grabs like a yummy chili cheese dog at Dom's. Oh yeah, and "Dark Star Cafe" has great sandwiches that you don't want to miss! For good times, you want to head to Joe Pop's and hear some great live music! You can't miss the giant yellow building. The Sandtrap is our favorite mini-golf course, and we stop by and play whenever we're around. Ship Bottom has a lot to offer, so park the car- get out and walk around. You'll be glad you did.
