LBI Kids entertainment always starts at one place- Fantasy Island!Fantasy Island offers a boardwalk like attraction without the boardwalk. You'll find rides, games, food and arcade action. You can save your tickets and win prizes, or try to catch a prize in their many claw games. Play skee ball, video poker and other cool machines. This is always a place my kids beg to go back to! You can find them situated on the main boulevard just a few streets past Bay Village on 7th Street. You can't miss it!
You're also only steps away from the Thundering Surf Water Slides and Action Golf park. In fact, it's located on 8th Street. Bay Village is at 9th, so make a day of it, let the kids play and get some shopping in. Parking is free in lots, and on the street. Another thing to do is go to smaller arcades. They are spotted through out the island. You'll find Mr T's on Engleside, and another arcade down on Bay Avenue behind Dairy King. If you're on the North end of the island, you'll want to stop by Our Endless Summer Arcade on 4th Street in Ship Bottom. Who doesn't love ice cream on a hot summer night? You'll find countless ice cream stands all over the island. Whether you choose The Show Place where you'll find singing waiters, Skipper Dipper in Peahala Park, or the little Dairy Queen at the Barnegat Light end of the island, you've got a great selection. You'll find a Ritas on the main drag in Beach Haven, as well as a Ben & Jerry's down past Fantasy Island. You've got a huge selection, and you'll find them every couple of blocks; plenty of ice cream for everyone! Woohoo Lastly, don't forget to check out the Children's Theatre selections at Surflight Theatre. You can see what's playing here.
