Check here. When you explore Long Beach Island, you'll see there's plenty of fun to be had by your entire family. Long Beach Island accommodates all ages and interests! They'll love Fantasy Island and Thundering Surf Water Slides.
If you like Arts and Crafts, then you'll love places like Just Bead It or Paint a Pot. I've made three of my own necklaces at Just Bead It and look forward to returning each summer. Follow the above link for locations and more choices. Nothing is more fun than riding a beach cruiser and enjoying the fresh air. You can find Bike Rentals and more. Boat Rentals and Jet Skis are fun, adrenalin pumping options. Whether you're looking for a chartered relaxing ride on the bay, or want to crank it up with a jet ski, you can find lots of different place to rent equipment. We get competitive in my family when it comes to Golf (miniature/putting)! There are plenty of choices when it comes to golfing on the island. You'll find a list of Miniature Golf Courses here. If waking at the crack of dawn to get the best catch is your idea of fun, then Long Beach Island Fishing offers you the best! You can go surf fishing, deep sea fishing, or fishing on the bay. You'll find bait and tackle stores listed, along with some places to charter a boat. Rainy days send me to the movies and the spa! If you're looking for a local movie theater, look no farther than 95th St in Peahala park next to the Acme for your movies. You'll also find a large movie theater on Route 72 in Manahawkin just over the causeway.
Shopping? Hello women, and welcome to LBI! Long Beach Island offers great shopping, no matter what you're looking for! Bay Village is a great place to start, but with the Silver Sun Mall, Hands Department Store and many other shops like Fishheads and Galamurphi's, there's something for everyone. You'll be able to linger and shop all day. If you are here off season, you might enjoy something like Scarecrow Row- a new tradition.
Do you want to be entertained? There's no better place than the Surflight Theater for plays, or The Showplace for ice cream and tunes. This one wraps them around the corner it's so popular!
