August is here, and while there are only a few weeks left before school starts, I must confess September is my favorite month to go to the beach. What is yours?
Don't think for a second that the season ends when Labor Day rolls around - because there's still a lot going on!
Not only is the weather incredible, but the water is warmer, and the beaches aren't as crowded. It's like having some of that LBI paradise to yourself.
I'll bet you're wondering what else you can do once the traditional summer season is over...and I've got answers!
September is the time when beach house rentals can offer you a great bargain, along with lower hotel and motel rates. If you're into saving money, September is an ideal time to plan your next trip.
You'll also find many stores with great sales as they begin to wrap up from the summer season. Who can resist a great bargain? Maybe there's something you've wanted to pick up, but had hoped to save a couple of dollars. September is a great time to find a deal on LBI.

October of course brings the popular Chowderfest - this year it's set for October 3rd and 4th, so make sure you book those reservations now! It will be here before you know it.
One of the newer events you can enjoy is the Scarecrow Row which takes place during October.
Last year was quite a success, and it was a blast to check out all the different scarecrows that were popping up on the island.
